Anna University takes a step to deal with student stress
Very soon, students in various engineering colleges under Anna
University will have a mentor and a guide to discuss their problems. And this
will not be just an informal exercise, but an organised activity with the help
of trained communication experts, psychologists and counsellors.
TM Candidates not eligible RMSA Exam
Telugu medium candidates, who applied to appear for the written
test being conducted to recruit categories of teachers for Rashtriya Madhyamik
Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) scheme as per the interim order issued by the High Court
earlier, have been asked not to attend the test.
An order to this effect was issued here on
Wednesday by N. Siva Sankar, commissioner of School Education, in light of the
High Court issuing the final order dismissing the writ petitions filed by these
candidates who questioned the validity of the notification issued for the
recruitment. He said the High Court orders issued on Wednesday had invalidated
its earlier interim order, thereby rendering these candidates ineligible to
appear for the test.
YVU PG Semester Results
Yogi Vemana University Vice-Chancellor A. Ramachandra Reddy released the results of fourth semester of several post-graduate courses – geology and geo-informatics, microbiology, biotechnology, zoology, material sciences and nano technology, history and archaeology and journalism – on Wednesday. The pass percentage was between 95 and 100 per cent. YVU Controller of Examinations M.V. Shankar and faculty members Sambasiva Reddy, Ghulam Tariq, Raghubabu and Subbaraman participated. The last date for receipt of applications for revaluation with a few of Rs. 400 per paper, re-totalling at Rs. 250 per paper, for personal identification with a fee of Rs. 500 without fine and with a fine of Rs. 200 per paper is May 28, Mr. Shankar said in a statement.
